Product Coaching
Learn more about working with me.
I’m Jori.
I’ve spent 15+ years building consumer products at companies like Spotify, Audible, SoundCloud, AOL, and Rolling Stone, shipping things used by millions, leading cross-functional teams, combating imposter syndrome as a non-technical PM, and learning (the hard way) what actually makes products and teams work. After that, I went independent: coaching product leaders, serving on the Cornell Tech faculty teaching product management, and building community through Coaching Corner and the Product Leader Breakfast in NYC. Today, I’m VP of Core at Hampton, where I run the peer group experience for founders and lead the moderator community that coaches those groups.
About Product Therapy.
Product Therapy is where I write about all of it: product management, leadership, career decisions, and how it all spills into the rest of life. I mix practical product thinking with personal reflection. Recent topics include staying relevant as a product leader in the AI era, how product works differently in big tech vs. startups, and what I’ve learned from coaching other PMs through career transitions. I also share monthly updates on what I’m building, reading, and thinking about.

Product Coaching
I coach product leaders one-on-one.
Most of my clients are senior product leaders and execs navigating things like influencing without authority, building executive presence, or working through imposter-y feelings. If you’re smart, motivated, and looking for someone who’s been in your seat, we’ll probably be a good fit.
I bring a mix of coaching and advising. While some coaches strictly ask questions, I’ll also share my point of view when it’s useful, drawn from 15+ years in product leadership. You get a thinking partner, not just a sounding board.
What we typically work on
Building executive presence and influence without authority
Navigating imposter syndrome (especially for non-technical PMs)
Sharpening strategy, prioritization, and decision-making
Stepping into a new leadership role or company
Working through team dynamics and stakeholder challenges
Preparing for your next career move
Are you a good it?
Clients who get the most out of coaching tend to be thoughtful, motivated, and active between sessions. They come with prioritized topics and are willing to do the work in between.
