How to Nail the Intro Email (That ChatGPT Couldn’t Write)
A real-life example from one of my clients that will inspire your next email.
I want to brag about one of my clients.
I make a lot of intros on a daily basis. It's one of the reasons Product Leaders choose to work with me (my network is theirs, #wearefamily)
Anyway, I see a lot of throw away emails with auto completed sentences (personal fave "to spare your inbox")
But recently one of my clients blew me away with his response following a connection I made.
* It was customized without being too gushy.
* It was direct without being too pushy.
* It was action oriented yet flexible.
ChatGPT could NEVER.

I’ve been writing a lot about networking.
Here are some of the best things I’ve shared out on Substack & LinkedIn…
(1) 20 Ways To Start Networking. Today. (Substack)
I wrote this over a year ago but it still rings true. It's really got something for everyone in it, so dig in for some ideas.
(2) The top tips I give my clients for building a solid networking strategy. (Substack)
I've been loving making videos. All these content creators are editing, using ring lights, doing hair and makeup and I'm like f*ck it let's go, now.
(3) What's the #1 question people forget to ask on a networking call? (LinkedIn)
Is this click bait? Maybe. Is it helpful? You bet.
(4) Don't Make Others Do The Heavy Lifting (LinkedIn)
Help others help you, it's not that hard.
(5) Who to start networking with first... (LinkedIn)
It might feel obvious but the amount of people who forget to start here is staggering.
Happy Networking!

So good. The long list of availability and thoughtfulness in the interest in the role/company and the clarity around what they want to know is what won me over!
